How To Use A Camera With A Broken Sensor
Camcorders with broken sensors can make you think that they are trash and your money went down the drain. When i bought a blackmagic design ursa for almost $3000, I thought i was going to get plenty of work. But by the end of the day of my first session, it seemed as if i got karma. As i was walking, i hit the blackmagic and the lens hit the ground and damaged the sensor. When I went to go get it checked, the company said that the camcorder was trash but since i spend so much money on the product, i want to find a way of still using it.
After alot of research, i figured out a way how to still use it but there were some gears I had to buy in order to Record with the blackmagic and they were Snagit software, thunderbolt, sdi cable and blackmagic Ultrastudio mini)
All you have to do is plug the sdi cable to the blackmagic design ursa and the blackmagic ultrastudio mini. The you plug the thunderbolt cable to the blackmagic ultrastudio mini and the laptop. When i purchase the blackmagic design ultrastudio mini, i actually didn’t think it was going to work.
The software that I use to record with my blackmagic design ursa is Snagit. Since the blackmagic has 12 dynamic range the quality is to powerful to record in on a laptop.
Camcorders with broker sensors and your low on money, make sure that doesn’t slow you down. Truly, all you need is a phone in order to get you job done for like music video, vlogs, review and so.
